Bio

Eric is a licensed professional engineer who earned an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He served on the board of directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Charlotte in 2020. Additionally, he has been a board chair for Florence Crittenton Services, Classroom Central, and the Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation. As a fundraiser for the Charlotte Chamber, Eric won the Miriam West award for the most new memberships in 2011 and 2012. He also received the Florence Crittenton – The Lucille P. Giles Award in 2011 and the UNC Charlotte – Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2017. Eric has been a guest lecturer for several years at UNC-Charlotte for the College of Architecture and the Belk College of Business.
