Sport Opportunity Grant
The NJCAA Foundation created the NJCAA Sport Opportunity Grant to support the addition, growth, and sustainment of NJCAA sports. As one of its main objectives, the NJCAA Foundation strives to provide new opportunities to student-athletes and member colleges across the association.
The NJCAA Sport Opportunity Grant is available for NJCAA member colleges to apply as they expand sport offerings at their institution while increasing student-athlete access and achievement. The grant will be awarded based on need and allotted funding.

| March 2025 | Grants awarded and recipients notified |
| June 2025 | Programs and grant announced in public press release |
| August 1 | Written report on the status of the program reported to NJCAA Foundation (Report due bi-annually for next four years) |
| February 1 | Written report on the status of the program reported to NJCAA Foundation (Report due bi-annually for next four years) |
