NJCAA Foundation Announces Additional Women's Flag Football Grant Recipients
Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA Foundation has announced 4 colleges will be recipients of $10,000 grants to support each school's commitment to add women's flag football as an intercollegiate varsity sport.

In 2021, the NJCAA announced the $150,000 grant provided by the NFL and the application process to support the initiative of expanding women's flag football towards garnering full NJCAA championship sport status.
"The NJCAA Foundation is excited for the continued growth of women's flag football at the two-year level. Through this partnership with NFL Flag and Reigning Champs Experiences, we are able to provide more resources and opportunities for student-athletes wanting to participate in women's flag," said Brian Luckett, NJCAA Foundation Executive Director. "The NJCAA Women's Flag Football Grant assists NJCAA member colleges in starting flag football programs while expanding sport opportunities at the two-year level."
NJCAA women's flag football concluded its second competition season this spring.
